Unicorns seem to be popping up all over, and my daughter
loves them! Matter of fact we are working on a unicorn birthday for next month. I thought it would be fun
to bring my love of pumpkins and her love of unicorns together and make a fun unicorn
pumpkin craft. This project is so easy and literally took me 20 minutes to make.
Start with any size pumpkin you like, you could use real or fake, for this project we chose
a fake white one that we found at Michaels.
Next step we found some silver glitter scrapbook paper, rolled it into a cone shape and secured
with tape. The small stem allowed for the cone to set right on top easily.
We picked out inexpensive flowers from the craft store, these were on sale for $0.59 each.
I used 4 bundles on this project.
Separate the leaves and flowers from the stems (they should pop right off). This will make it easier to
fill in exactly where you want the greenery and flowers.
Next we started with two flowers right in front, applied hot glue to the back and pressed firmly.
Then we kept adding flowers and greenery, this part is really up to personal preference.
We used black scrapbook paper for the eyes. Cut out and applied with glue.
These didn't turn out perfect, but she still looks cute to us!
Such a fun craft to do with the kids. What other fun characters could you make from a pumpkin?
