Once we knew there was a party to plan...an invitation was next! Christina at Sunshine Tulip Design has the sweetest invites and created this beautiful one that fit our theme perfectly.
The backdrop was fun, not so much to hang, but fun to come up with. These round paper circles came assembled and ready to hang.
My daughter loves Lucky Charms, and what a fun way to change up krispie treats and make them festive for the party. They turned out really good, just follow any instructions for rice krispie treats and use whatever cereal you want. I would recommend with larger cereal pieces to make them a bit thinner than I did. These were a bit thick and at times a bit difficult for the kiddos. However, this did not slow them down!
Anything green was fair game at this table, my daughter picked out her favorite flavors of applesauce packs and combined them with the green rock candy sticks and apple fruit leathers.
This "Lucky" balloon banner was an easy and simple way to complete the backdrop. Self-inflating mylar balloons, you just smash down on the packet inside and it starts to inflate. Super easy, fun and quick!
The jello was my idea, she had never tried lime jello, there is a first for everything. It was a hit, and the perfect addition to her sweets table. She topped them each jar with a shamrock ring.
We couldn't stop at just the sweetstable, place settings were necessary! We ordered these darling rainbow plates, black candy buckets and filled with Golden Oreos (now that's an end of the rainbow I would love to find).
We used stickers to make drink tags. She cut out the circles and attached the stickers. Mom did the hole punch and we tied them to the bottles. Picking the straws was quite difficult for some reason, she must have tried several colors before settling on the yellow.
Swirly pops were a must, once she saw them they were a must! Instead of just eating them, we created a centerpiece out of them. A pop of color on the table and easy for the kids to grab (which may have backfired...but hey what do you expect from a table full of 6 year olds).
I am definitely a lucky one, this girl of mine is so fun. I love seeing her ideas and helping her create a fun party to be proud of. Normally we don't celebrate much for St. Patrick's Day, but we may need to change that.
