Tea Time

Twice a year one of my mom's very good friends puts on an English Tea. This year was the first time I was able to attend and it just so happens it was Katelyn's very first Tea.

She looked so pretty in her dress and she was so well behaved I couldn't have asked for better.

The spread was quite amazing, lots of finger foods, treats and my all time favorite, scones! The host had just returned from a trip to England and brought back some traditional tea goodies, cream butter spread and delicious tea. I, of course, over ate and still hadn't gotten to try everything I wanted.  The afternoon was great, we ate, socialized and drank tea, what could be better? We don't  get to very often , but my mom and I really enjoy tea time.  Since our background mainly English and Canadian, it's fun to embrace our roots.
